Charles de Agustin is a moving-image artist based in New Jersey. His research-driven films, installations and performances often exist as autoethnographies, utilizing appropriative methods to explore hybrid histories of the personal and sociocultural. Charles’ curatorial project is the NOFLASH Video Show: an annual event in New Brunswick, NJ since 2016 focused on new work from emerging time-based artists and filmmakers, local and international. He is pursuing a BFA in filmmaking and philosophy at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, and will graduate in May 2020 as an Honors College Scholar.
